Wayne Allen Goldsmith was born to Merle F Goldsmith and Louise P Goldsmith on April 3, 1957. He was the second child they had.
He was a fine God loving Christian man with very high morals, with a sense of humor, a caring person and down to earth.
Being a smart man he had a way with computers and electronic devices, he was able to get them to do what he wanted them to do.
He also enjoyed sports, basketball, and scuba diving.
His favorite game was chess, either playing against someone else or against a computer.
He was a kind, loyal, and reliable person.
Wayne went through the public school system for grade school and junior high school, and took home correspondence courses for highschool. He got his GED which opened the way to get into Cochise College, where he got a BA degree upon graduation. The college assisted him in gaining employment at Sperry Rand.
His major accomplishment was a promotion to lab tech, which he worked at for several years.
After battling a long illness, Wayne was called home on December 26, 2017.
He is survived by one brother, Ron Goldsmith, of Mesa, Arizona.
A public visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 6pm – 8pm, and Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10am at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 1130 South Horne, Mesa, AZ. Followed by a Graveside Service at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren Street, Phoenix, AZ.
The family will also be gathering for a brunch at Denny’s following the graveside, and would like to invite all who can attend.
