Rodney Kleck, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2017, at the age of 88. Rodney was born in Phoenix to Jack and Peachie Kleck on November 22, 1929. He attended Phoenix Union High School and graduated from ASU. In 1950 he married the love of his life, Donna Barnhard, and moved to Coolidge to farm cotton on his family’s old homestead. He had a passion for golfing and fishing and won many tournaments. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Donna; four daughters: Deann (Lavon); Karen; Becky (Spencer); Lauri; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 22, at 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 933 East Brown Road (between Horne and Stapley) in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund online at ldsp-pay.ldschurch.org.
