Mary Rose Parise Esposito, 95, was called to our Lord on July 3, 2017. She was born in Calabria, Italy and moved to Philadelphia, PA, with her family, in 1923. She resided in Philadelphia until 2000, when she moved to Arizona.
Mary worked for the federal government at the Supply Depot in Philadelphia and was the Recorder of Deeds for the City of Philadelphia. During WWII, Mary went to work for the Signal Corps in Philadelphia helping to fill one of the jobs vacated by the men who went to serve their country. Mary was a member of The Catholic Daughters both in Philadelphia and Arizona.
Mary was also well known, by neighbors and family, for her incredible cooking and especially her Italian cookies. She never failed to help someone, getting to know them and stay in touch.
She is predeceased by her husband Hugo Esposito, and sister Theresa Cowden. Mary is survived by her sister Emma Abel, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Catholic Daughters will start the Rosary at 10AM, Friday July 21, 2017 at All Saints Church, Mesa, AZ and the funeral mass will follow at 11AM. Grave side service to be held at 11AM on Monday July 24, 2017 at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
